A forward curved blade usually around 12-15 inches in length, excelling at chopping/cutting motions. Can be used as a weapon but also a universal cutting tool capable of tasks including skinning, can opening, digging, and cutting [firewood]. Part of the [regimental] weaponry and heraldry of [Gurkha] fighters.
