Kyphoscoliosis

A combination of both [kyphosis] and scoliosis. Sometimes one of the conditions can be caused by the other and when you have both it is called [kyphoscoliosis]. Some of the time it can be corrected with [physical therapy] but a lot of the time people have to get a surgery where they place rod in you spine to help keep it straight. [Kyphoscoliosis] is not common and can cause a person great pain so if you know someone with kyphoscoliosis please be patient with them as they complain to you about the pain they feel.
