Garnet is a character from the Cartoon Network show Steven Universe written by Cartoon Networks first female producer [Rebecca Sugar]. Garnet is the current leader of the [Crystal Gems], a group that rebelled against Homeworld and the Diamonds. Garnet is a fusion of two gems: A ruby and a sapphire. Garnet can see into the future because of [sapphires] future vision ability and is incredibly strong because of ruby. Garnet is the embodiment of ruby and sapphires love for each other.
