was a Roman [nobleman] in 71BC. He was present in the Third Servile War where [Spartacus] [the gladiator] led an uprising against the Holy Roman State. As a child, he despised gladiator fights even to such point of declaring it publicly. When the uprising spread to his small farming bordering the Alps, he was able to persuade the rebels to leave their people be. His success did not spread in the Empire, but words of his deeds were carried by the escaped rebels and into lands surrounding Rome.
