Extracurricular whore

A student (usually high school junior) who racks up multiple extracurricular activities with the sole purpose of stuffing her/his [college application]. Has no passion for any of these activities whatsoever, and attempts to get her/his fingers into as many pies as possible (however shallow).
Also attempts to cozy up to successful students (mostly Ivy-bound seniors) and learn the secrets of getting into college.
Examples of extracurriculars include: community service, [Model United Nations], debate, [French club], etc.
