The momentary lapse of self-awareness one experiences after prolonged mobile device usage suddenly leads to a blunt snap back into reality. Symptoms include, but are not limited to deterioration of short-term memory, [sense of direction], motor functions, speech, and courtesy. Mobile Dementia, or Mobile Mania as it is known in many [public transit] systems, can last as little as a few seconds or as much as a full minute while the inflicted try to figure out where the fuck they were going, how to [fucking get] there, and who the fuck they think they are.
