This term, coined by James LaFerla in his bestselling book “[Conscious Neuroplastic Mediation]: The Next Step in the Evolution of Human Consciousness (2018)”, refers to someone who is still lost in [feel-think]. Unfortunately, as it happens, that is the vast majority of people who have lived, or are living. When someone is an unwitting they operate like a machine, completely unaware that their thoughts and feelings are nothing more than reflexive responses to life. They imagine that they are actually conscious people, when in fact they are continually remembering how to feel in the present based on the conditioning they received earlier in their life.
All anyone has to do is look at the world and ask themselves why do we have all of the wars, violence, greed, hatred, prejudice, and injustice? How could people continue to do these things to each other? The answer is that they are all unwittings who operate from feel-think rather than objective conscious [think-feel]. Unconscious of their unconsciousness, they make possible the unconscionable.
