This was originally a term that was coined for a variation of the [swinging] lifestyle, in which [the wife] had sexual adventures with other men or multiple men, while her husband enjoyed joining in or watching.

Today a HotWife is usually just some married broad, who claims the title and [thinks that she] is in some elite club just because her husband is ok with her having a boyfriend on the side.

@sarah Not really. A hit wife is simply one who can date and pursue relationships outside her primary one. If he is also involved then that is also a cuckold aspect in their relationship, and usually involves a bull being dated by the hot wife. If the husband joins in, then it is just a 3sum.
But a hot wife itself is just the descriptor for only a woman involved with others without the spouse.

The term hotwife is a derogatory slang used to describe an overly possessive and controlling woman who uses sex to manipulate or control a man. It is often used to describe women who are controlling or abusive in relationships, and it is not a positive or respectful term. Its important to remember that derogatory language like this can hurt and demean others, so its best to avoid using this term or any other that is disrespectful to others. Instead, its important to work on building healthy and respectful relationships with those around us.
