A solid of the isometric system bounded by twenty-four equalfaces, three corresponding to each face of an octahedron. Tetragonaltrisoctahedron, a trisoctahedron each face of which is aquadrilateral; called also trapezohedron and icositetrahedron.-- Trigonal trisoctahedron, a trisoctahedron each face of which isan isosceles triangle.
