Contrary to popular belief, used to describe Socialists, as Communism = Red, and Capitalism = White. (See Russian Revolution in your history text book) Red White = Pink. Therefore, Socialism = Pink.

Lukewarm communist. Half-way communist. Quasi-communist. Socialist. Uber-collectivist. A Leftista who is not a member of an official communist organization or government. Anarchists who support Big Government policies (charlatans). One who believes in peace, order, and appeasement. One who believes in majority rule (mobocracy).

a term used to describe left-wing political advocates, usually communists, in an insulting manner.

[Britney]

A belittling or uncomplimentary name given to someone who is not necessarily a communist but is understanding of communism and communists, and this person may support socialism. For some people Communism is associated with the color red, and pink, a lighter shade of red, could stand for the lighter shade, form, or type of communism, being socialism.

[Tanya Shivari]

Term that originiated in the Red Scares of the 1950s. If someone were accused of being a communist sympathizer, they were referred to as a pinko. This originiated when Nixon was running against Ex Officio Senator Douglas for the positionm of California. He accused her of wearing pink underwear, implying that she sympathized with communist parties. Nixon won the election by a landslide.

A semi-Communist; an [ultra-liberal]. People who may or may not support [Anarchy]. Usually hates the [Republican] Party and Conservatives, and typically despises [George W. Bush] (or [George Bush]).

A communist. Its origins stem from the Communists use of red flags. Used mostly by hicks.

[Luis Fok]

A person with left-wing or liberal views.

[Sommer]

A [slang] term used to describe someone who is [socialist] or is [acting] like a socialist.
