A kind of linen cloth, originally made in Silesia, a province of Prussia.
A region of central Europe, centred on the upper Oder valley, now largely in south-western Poland. It was partitioned at various times between the states of Prussia, Austria–Hungary, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.
