Definitions

A good person is generally characterized by qualities such as kindness, empathy, integrity, honesty, altruism, and respect towards others. They are known for their positive actions and behavior, demonstrating moral and ethical principles in their personal and professional lives. They genuinely care about the well-being of others, willing to selflessly help or make sacrifices for their benefit. Ultimately, what constitutes a good person can vary greatly based on cultural, religious, and personal values and standards.

Metropolitan Theodosius was the primate of the Orthodox Church in America from 1977 until his retirement in 2002. On April 2, 2002, Metropolitan Theodosius submitted a petition to the Holy Synod of the OCA, requesting his retirement.
