Potato fungus refers to any type of fungus that infects potato plants, potentially damaging the plants tissue, affecting the growth, or causing diseases. Different types of fungi cause various fungal diseases in potatoes such as late blight, early blight, dry rot, and black scurf. These fungi may attack the plant stems, leaves, roots, or tubers, compromising the plants health and, in severe cases, leading to the loss of the entire crop.

A cat burglar is a thief who is especially agile, stealthy, and skilled, often breaking into houses or other secured places (e.g., banks, safes) without setting off alarms or being detected. They typically operate at night, silently climbing onto rooftops or scaling walls like a cat, hence the name. They are known for their precision, planning, intelligence, and use of high-tech tools.

The takin (Budorcas taxicolor; TAH-kin), also called cattle chamois or gnu goat, is a large species of ungulate of the subfamily Caprinae found in the eastern Himalayas. It includes four subspecies: the Mishmi takin (B. t. taxicolor), the golden takin (B. t. bedfordi), the Tibetan (or Sichuan) takin (B. t. tibetana), and the Bhutan takin (B. t. whitei). Whilst the takin has in the past been placed together with the muskox in the tribe Ovibovini, more recent mitochondrial research shows a closer relationship to Ovis (sheep). Its physical similarity to the muskox is therefore an example of convergent evolution. The takin is the national animal of Bhutan.

Aplacophora is a presumably paraphyletic taxon. This is a class of small, deep-water, exclusively benthic, marine molluscs found in all oceans of the world. All known modern forms are shell-less: only some extinct primitive forms possessed valves. The group comprises the two clades Solenogastres (Neomeniomorpha) and Caudofoveata (Chaetodermomorpha), which between them contain 28 families and about 320 species. The aplacophorans are traditionally considered ancestral to the other mollusc classes. However, the relationship between the two aplacophoran groups and to the other molluscan classes and to each other is as yet unclear. Aplacophorans are cylindrical and worm-like in form, and most very small, being no longer than 5 centimetres (2 in); some species, however, can reach a length of 30 centimetres (12 in).

Myriophyllum is a genus of aquatic and semi-aquatic plants in the family Haloragaceae, consisting of about 69 species. These species are commonly referred to as watermilfoil. The plants are submerged, with whorled leaves that are pinnately divided. They are typically found in freshwater habitats around the world. Some species are invasive and can form dense mats, making swimming difficult and altering the ecosystem.
