A shotel (Geez: ሽቶል/ሽተል) is a curved sword originating in northern Ethiopia. The curve on the blade varies from the Persian shamshir, adopting an almost semicircular shape. The blade is flat and double-edged with a diamond cross-section. The blade is about 40 inches (1,000 mm) in total length and the hilt is a simple wooden or rhinoceros horn piece with no guard similar to the jile or jambiya. The shotel was carried in a close fitting leather scabbard which was often decorated in precious metals and worn on the right side.

Modern pizza was invented in Naples, and the dish and its variants have since become popular in many countries. It has become one of the most popular foods in the world and a common fast food item in Europe, the Americas and Australasia; available at pizzerias (restaurants specializing in pizza), restaurants offering Mediterranean cuisine, via pizza delivery, and as street food. Various food companies sell ready-baked pizzas, which may be frozen, in grocery stores, to be reheated in a home oven. In 2017, the world pizza market was US billion, and in the US it was billion spread over 76,000 pizzerias. Overall, 13% of the U.S. population aged 2 years and over consumed pizza on any given day.The Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (lit. True Neapolitan Pizza Association) is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 with headquarters in Naples that aims to promote traditional Neapolitan pizza. In 2009, upon Italys request, Neapolitan pizza was registered with the European Union as a Traditional Speciality Guaranteed dish, and in 2017 the art of its making was included on UNESCOs list of intangible cultural heritage.Raffaele Esposito is often considered to be the father of modern pizza.

The term clairvoyance is used to refer to the ability to gain information about an object, person, location or physical event through means other than the known human senses, a form of extra-sensory perception. A person said to have the ability of clairvoyance is referred to as a clairvoyant. Claims for the existence of paranormal and psychic abilities such as clairvoyance have not been supported by scientific evidence published in high impact factor peer reviewed journals. Parapsychology explores this possibility, but the existence of the paranormal is not accepted by the scientific community. Parapsychology, including the study of clairvoyance, is an example of pseudoscience.

Chroming refers to the act of inhaling or huffing various household products or substances that contain volatile chemicals, such as aerosol sprays or solvents, in order to achieve a high. This term is commonly used in reference to the practice of inhaling chrome-based paint or cleaner, which can produce a euphoric or hallucinogenic effect. Chroming is considered a form of substance abuse and can have serious health consequences, including neurological damage and even death.

Captivating is a popular and controversial book in the American/Christian market. Published in 2005 by John Eldredge and his wife Stasi, it proposes that women have three core desires: to be romanced, to play an irreplaceable role in a great adventure, and to unveil beauty.. It also proposes that God made woman as the Crown of Creation, an embodiment of Gods beauty, mystery and vulnerability. The concept of woman as the Crown of Creation has become the subject of much controversy surrounding the book, critics claiming that it exalts women above men in the Creation. The book rejects the idea of an ideal woman and explores biblical scripture from the view that God desires woman to embrace her glory, rather than fear her femininity. Captivating is a companion to Wild at Heart, also by John Eldredge, and argues that its model of femininity complements mens innate desires for a battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue. The authors use scriptural analysis, personal experience, and interviews with others as their basis for their argument. The book has received considerable criticism from people both within and outside of the Christian sphere. Many argue that the authors personal experiences add too much bias to a book intended to address wide human conditions; many claim that the authors scriptural analyses are incorrect.

The Oracle of Apollo, most famously known as the Oracle of Delphi, is a figure from Greek mythology which refers to a priestess (known as the Pythia) who served as a medium through which Apollo, the god of prophecy, spoke. These prophesies were considered highly reliable and authoritative, and they played a major role in Greek politics, religion, and daily life. The Oracle of Apollo was based in the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, a significant site of worship and pilgrimage in ancient Greece. Each oracle’s pronouncements were believed to be the responses of Apollo to specific questions asked by individuals or states.
