Mount Rainier is a massive stratovolcano located 54 miles southeast of Seattle in the state of Washington, United States. It is the most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous United States and the Cascade Volcanic Arc, with a summit elevation of 14,411 ft. Mt. Rainier is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world, and it is on the Decade Volcano list. Because of its large amount of glacial ice, Mt. Rainier could potentially produce massive lahars that would threaten the whole Puyallup River valley.

Gosmore is a hamlet in the parish of St Ippolyts (where the population at the 2011 Census was included) near Hitchin in Hertfordshire, England. One interesting feature is Bunyans Dell, a natural amphitheatre deep inside Wain Wood where the author of The Pilgrims Progress preached in secret when his faith was persecuted after the Restoration.

The oboe da caccia (pronounced [ˈɔːboe da (k)ˈkattʃa]; literally hunting oboe in Italian), also sometimes referred to as an oboe da silva, is a double reed woodwind instrument in the oboe family, pitched a fifth below the oboe and used primarily in the Baroque period of European classical music. It has a curved tube, and in the case of instruments by Eichentopf (and modern copies of same), a brass bell, unusual for an oboe. Its range is close to that of the cor anglais—that is, from the F below middle C (notated C4 but sounding F3) to the D above the treble staff (notated D6 but sounding G5). The oboe da caccia is thus a transposing instrument in F. The notated range is identical to that of the soprano baroque oboe, and with a good reed, all registers speak very easily. Johann Sebastian Bach tended to favor the middle and lowest registers, however, perhaps because they are the most characteristic ones for this instrument.

The arteria carotis, also known as the carotid artery, is one of the major arteries in the human body that supplies blood to the head and neck. It originates from the aorta in the chest, branches up through the side of the neck, and further divides into two main sections - the internal carotid artery, supplying blood to the brain, and the external carotid artery, supplying blood to the face and scalp. Its an essential part of the vascular system due to its role in delivering oxygenated blood to the brain.

Brine shrimp are a type of aquatic crustacean that thrive in saline water. They are small, usually only a few millimeters in length, and are commonly used as food for fish and other aquarium dwellers. They are known for their exceptional ability to produce dormant eggs, known as cysts, which can remain viable for long periods and suddenly hatch when favorable conditions return. The most famous species is Artemia salina, commonly known as Sea Monkeys.
