A superfacial, unnecessary, or overly bad sequel to a classic film. Usually the second film in the series though not always. Adding the phrase to a movies title is similar to adding the electric boogaloo. Derived from the intentionally superfacial sequel, Hot Shots! Part Deux. Examples include: The Exorcist II, Caddyshack 2, Batman and Robin, The Godfather Part III, etc.

Part deux is a French term that means of the day or on this occasion. It is used to refer to something that happened or will happen in the near future. For example, if someone says Je vais prendre un café part deux (Im going to have a coffee on this occasion), they mean that it is a special or unusual day, and they are going to treat it as such. It is also used in a similar way to say part deux (another) or to indicate that something is a good day or an unusual event.
