CAS is a detection system that uses radars, cameras, sensors and other equipment to detect a potentially imminent crash. Once the danger is detected, a warning is sent to the driver. If no reaction is detected, the system automatically brakes or steers.

The dying patient
Dying patients can have needs that differ from those of other patients. So that their needs can be met, dying patients must first be identified. Before death, patients tend to follow 1 of 3 general trajectories of functional decline:
A limited period of steadily progressive functional decline (eg, typical of progressive cancer)
A prolonged indefinite period of severe dysfunction that may not be steadily progressive (eg, typical of severe dementia, disabling stroke, and severe frailty)
Function that decreases irregularly, caused by periodic and sometimes unpredictable acute exacerbations of the underlying disorder (eg, typical of heart failure or COPD)With the first trajectory (eg, in progressive cancer), the course of disease and time of death tend to be more predictable than with the other trajectories. For example, with prolonged dysfunction (eg, severe dementia), death may occur suddenly because of an infection such as pneumonia. With irregularly progressive dysfunction (eg, heart failure), people who do not appear near death may die suddenly during an acute exacerbation. As a result, although knowing the trajectory of functional decline can help, it is still often difficult to estimate with any precision when death will occur. Thus, clinicians are advised to consider patients that fulfill both of the following criteria as potentially dying patients, recognizing that these criteria may be overly inclusive:
Presence of illness that is serious and expected to worsen
Death within 1 year would not surprise the clinicianIf a patient is recognized as potentially dying, the clinician should
Communicate the likely course of disease, including an estimation of the length of survival, to the patient, and, if the patient chooses, to family, friends, or both
Discuss and clarify the medical goals of care (eg, palliation, cure)
Discuss and clarify what matters most to the patient and loved ones (eg, being home, being at a future event, staying mentally clear)
Arrange for desired palliative and hospice care, including supportive services (eg, home-delivered meals)
Plan what to do when death is imminent
Treat symptoms
Help address financial, legal, and ethical concerns
Help patients and caregivers deal with stressPatients should be involved in decision making as much as they can. If patients lack capacity to make health care decisions and have a durable power of attorney for health care, the person appointed by that document makes health care decisions. If patients have no authorized surrogate, health care practitioners usually rely on the next of kin or even a close friend to gain insight into what the patient

Formation of blood cells
Red blood cells, most white blood cells, and platelets are produced in the bone marrow, the soft fatty tissue inside bone cavities. Two types of white blood cells, T and B cells (lymphocytes), are also produced in the lymph nodes and spleen, and T cells are produced and mature in the thymus gland. (See also Overview of Blood.)
Within the bone marrow, all blood cells originate from a single type of unspecialized cell called a stem cell. When a stem cell divides, it first becomes an immature red blood cell, white blood cell, or platelet-producing cell. The immature cell then divides, matures further, and ultimately becomes a mature red blood cell, white blood cell, or platelet.
The rate of blood cell production is controlled by the body -
The beacon
A resteraunt in [Spartanburg, SC]. The resteraunt is mostly famous for its (very) sweet beacon iced tea. They also have a lot of greasy food there. Even their salads are greasy. They also have [good ice] cream there. They are also famous for employee JC [Strobel], whose famous catchphrase CALL IT! which he yells out when it is someones turn to order. Instead of ordering a deluxe plate, they call it an a-plenty.
A really good resteraunt in Spartanburg, SC. Enough said.

Burkitt lymphoma
Burkitt lymphoma is a very fast-growing non-Hodgkin lymphoma that originates from B cells (B lymphocytes).
Lymphomas (see also Overview of Lymphoma) are cancers of a specific type of white blood cells known as lymphocytes. These cells help fight infections. Lymphomas can develop from either B or T lymphocytes. T lymphocytes are important in regulating the immune system and in fighting viral infections. B lymphocytes produce antibodies, which are essential in fighting off some infections.
Burkitt lymphoma can develop at any age, but it is most common in children and young adults, particularly males. Unlike other lymphomas, Burkitt lymphoma has a specific geographic distribution: It is most common in central Africa and rarer in the United States. Infection with Epstein-Barr virus is associated with Burkitt lymphoma. It is also more common in people who have HIV infection.
Burkitt lymphoma grows and spreads quickly, often to the bone marrow, blood, and central nervous system. When it spreads, weakness and fatigue often develop. Large numbers of lymphoma cells may accumulate in the lymph nodes and organs of the abdomen, causing swelling. Lymphoma cells may invade the small intestine, resulting in blockage or bleeding. The neck and jaw may swell, sometimes painfully. To make the diagnosis, doctors do a biopsy of the abnormal tissue and order other procedures to stage the disease.
Without treatment, Burkitt lymphoma is rapidly fatal. Rarely, surgery may be needed to remove parts of the intestine that are blocked or bleeding or have ruptured. Intensive chemotherapy, which includes chemotherapy to the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord to prevent spread to these areas, can cure more than 80% of people. -
