Usually after the procedure the hump is reduced quite significantly, all according on how predominant it was before hand. This procedure is seen as cosmetic surgery as it has more to do with the way the person looks and feels about themselves rather than it needed to be corrected. The rib hump on the back doesn't cause any problems other than maybe slight un-comfort. This procedure isn't compulsory and isn't needed, therefore is seen as a cosmetic procedure.</p>
