A slang word originating in Northern Italy (Piedmonte to be precise) and an alternative to [bella donna] or beautiful woman. It originally came into use circa 1971 and most recently has become popular in the South East of England. Unfortunately an [aversion] to [airbourne] primates has meant that the term Rondelli has not been adopted further afield.
