Calledalso weakfish, squitee, chickwit, and <a href="/topic/57137/sea-trout">sea trout</a>. The spottedsqueteague (C. nebulosus) of the Southern United States is a similarfish, but the back and upper fins are spotted with black. It iscalled also spotted weakfish, and, locally, <a href="/topic/57137/sea-trout">sea trout</a>, and seasalmon.</p>
