Sirius fought in the first Wizarding War in the Order of the Phoenix alongside his friends, but was later blamed for the death of James and [Lily Potter] and sent to Azkaban, to which he later escaped 12 years later.<br />
Black dies by the hand of his cousin <a href="/topic/154678/bellatrix">Bellatrix</a> Lestrange and is pushed into the Veil by one of her curses.<br />
Some other nicknames that Sirius has are: Black, [Snuffles] (by Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger)</p>
