Opposite of extrovert. A person who is energized by spending time alone. Often found in their homes, libraries, quiet parks that not many people know about, or other secluded places, introverts like to think and be alone.
Contrary to popular belief, not all introverts are shy. Some may have great social lives and love talking to their friends but just need some time to be alone to recharge afterwards. The word Introvert has negative connotations that need to be destroyed. Introverts are simply misunderstood because the majority of the population consists of extroverts.

A very broad term that is misunderstood, but an introvert may contain one or more of these qualities. It pretty much comes down to choice however.

One who focuses on the inner world of thoughts and ideas.

One who gains energy from alone time, one who thinks before they speak.

A person that needs solitude and an inner sanctum to survive. A thoughtful person that is lonely due to extroverts taking all the boys/girls that they like.

Someone who doesnt talk alot and tends to keep to themselves. They are usually mistakenly labeled as rude, unfriendly, stuck up, or bitchy.

One who thinks first and then speaks by means of using his mouth. Opposite of the extravert who doesnt think and then randomly shoots words out of his asshole like diarrhea.

The 2nd personality category that isnt understood at all by faggots labeled as extroverts and each member of being an introvert is either treated harshly, regarded as being shy, or is just completely ignored all together.

The exact opposite of an extrovert and introvert tends to keep to themselves due to having a different mindset than everyone else. Introverts tend to have a strong sense of self, caused by their solitary nature. They have few friends but those friends are very precious to them. Despite their appearance they sometimes have low self-esteem and tend to feel lonely often. However, an introvert enjoys their time to themselves very much and considers that time most precious. [extroverts] tend to hate and misunderstand introverts since they cant understand them. Due to this introverts usually avoid most extroverts because they tend to be assholes or because some of their pointless conversations tend to kill brain cells. Due to dealing with extroverts, they can come up with amazing comebacks. Introverts are very interesting people to talk to because of their completely different view of the world and are great to have as friends because theyll never betray you

An introvert prefers to spend time alone in order to recharge their inner being. An introvert may appear to be shy to others, but that is not necessarily an accurate label. Being among groups of friends, family and even strangers can be wonderfully stimulating and joyous occasions. Interacting with people and attention to multiple sources of stimuli tends to draw down an introverts energy causing them to eventually withdraw to spend time alone to re-energize. Small talk and pointless conversations tend to draw down an introverts energy rapidly.

Typically, the person that no one understands. Introverts are often commercialized into the people who sit at home watching Netflix all day. On the contrary, the real introvert is the person who thinks deeply, keeps to themselves, and feels depleted by social situations. The opposite of an introvert is an extrovert.
